REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Meagher County, Montana (“County”) is soliciting proposals for an individual or entity to contract with Meagher County to provide Sanitation Services in accordance with Mont. Code Ann. § 37-40-301 et. seq.
The successful individual or entity will be a licensed Sanitarian in Montana and will address in their proposal their capacity for conducting both annual certifications of approximately fifty (50) businesses across Meagher County; AND an ever growing number of septic system applications and as-built reviews, approximately 20-30 per year.
Proposals should include:
- Availability to be present for the Red Ants Pants music festival in late July.
- An hourly rate for the proposed work, and any assorted costs.
- The firm's legal name, address, and telephone number;
- The principal(s) of the firm and their experience and qualifications;
- Experience and qualifications of the staff to be assigned to the project, including relevant professional certification;
- Contacts that could be used as references for previous work;
- A description of the firm's prior experience, counties/cities worked with in the last 5 years;
- A statement of interest regarding work in Meagher County;
- A short description of the firm's current work activities and how Meagher Counties work would be incorporated.
The selection of finalists will be based on an evaluation of the written proposals. At the County Commission’s discretion, interviews may be held with the top-ranked firms.
The proposal which is deemed most advantageous to the Community considering all factors will be selected. Unsuccessful proposals will be notified as soon as possible.
This solicitation is being offered in accordance with federal and state statutes governing procurement of professional services. Accordingly, Meagher County reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based on fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject any and all responses deemed unqualified, unsatisfactory, or inappropriate.
